Enabling sponsorships through Patreon

You can connect your Patreon and GitHub accounts to receive GitHub Sponsors sponsorships through Patreon.

Prerequisites

Linking your Patreon account to your GitHub account

  1. In the upper-right corner of any page, click your profile photo, then click Settings.

  2. In the left sidebar, click Account.

  3. In the "Link Patreon account" section, click Connect with Patreon.

  4. Sign into your Patreon account.

  5. To allow GitHub to connect with Patreon, in the "GitHub would like to..." section, click Allow.

  6. Click Allow people to pay you through Patreon. Then click Update Patreon preferences.

Linking your Patreon account to your organization

  1. In the upper-right corner of GitHub.com, select your profile photo, then click Your organizations.

  2. Next to the organization, click Settings.

  3. In the "Link Patreon account" section, click Connect with Patreon.

  4. Sign into your Patreon account.

  5. To allow GitHub to connect with Patreon, in the "GitHub would like to..." section, click Allow.

  6. Click Allow people to pay you through Patreon. Then click Update Patreon preferences.
