Viewing packages

You can see details about packages published to a repository, and narrow results by organization or user.

GitHub Packages is available with GitHub Free, GitHub Pro, GitHub Team, and GitHub Enterprise Cloud. GitHub Packages is unavailable for per-repository plans, which are legacy billing plans. For more information, see "GitHub's products."

Anyone with read permissions to a repository can view the repository's packages.

Packages must be installed at the repository level, but you can view all packages in an organization and all packages you've published. On the package page, GitHub provides metadata for each version, such as the publication date. You can see details about the package, including a description and installation and usage instructions. You can download any assets associated with the package and see information about download activity. For an example package page, see @Codertocat/hello-world-npm.
