You can link a repository to your organization's project board.

You can link up to five repositories to your organization project board to make it easier to add issues and pull requests from those repositories to your project board.

Linking a repository to an organization project board

Anyone with write permissions to a project board can link repositories owned by that organization to the project board. For more information, see "Project board permissions for an organization."

  1. In the top right corner of GitHub, click your profile photo, then click Your profile. Profile photo

  2. On the left side of your profile page, under "Organizations", click the icon for your organization. organization icons

  3. Under your organization name, click Projects. Projects tab for your organization

  4. In the projects list, click the name of the project board. Select project

  5. On the top-right side of the project board, click Menu.

  6. Click , then click Settings. Settings option in drop-down menu from project board sidebar

  7. In the left sidebar, click Linked repositories. Linked repositories menu option in left sidebar

  8. Click Link a repository. Link a repository button on Linked repositories tab

  9. Search for the repository you'd like to link. Search field on Link a repository window
  10. Click Link. Link button

Unlinking a repository from a project board

  1. In the top right corner of GitHub, click your profile photo, then click Your profile. Profile photo

  2. On the left side of your profile page, under "Organizations", click the icon for your organization. organization icons

  3. Under your organization name, click Projects. Projects tab for your organization

  4. In the projects list, click the name of the project board. Select project

  5. On the top-right side of the project board, click Menu.

  6. Click , then click Settings. Settings option in drop-down menu from project board sidebar

  7. In the left sidebar, click Linked repositories. Linked repositories menu option in left sidebar

  8. Next to the repository you'd like to unlink, click Unlink. Unlink button
