To build a positive environment for contributors and manage the community around your organization's projects, owners can block and unblock a user's access to organization repositories.
Organization owners can temporarily restrict certain users from commenting, opening issues, or creating pull requests in the organization's public repositories to enforce a period of limited activity.
Organization owners can block a user to remove the user's ability to collaborate on the organization's repositories. Organization owners can also block users for a specific amount of time. After the block expires, the user is automatically unblocked.
You can view a list of all users whom you or other owners have blocked from your organization. If a user was blocked for a specific amount of time, you can see the amount of time they were blocked for.
Organization owners can unblock a user who was previously blocked, restoring their access to the organization's repositories.
