You can downgrade your organization's storage and bandwidth for Git LFS by increments of 50 GB per month in bandwidth and storage.

When you downgrade your number of data packs, your change takes effect on your next billing date. For more information, see "About storage and bandwidth usage."

Only organization members with the owner or billing manager role can access or change billing settings for your organization.

  1. In the top right corner of GitHub, click your profile photo, then click Your profile. Profile photo

  2. On the left side of your profile page, under "Organizations", click the icon for your organization. organization icons

  3. Under your organization name, click Settings. Organization settings button

  4. In your organization's Settings sidebar, click Billing. Billing settings

  5. Next to "Git LFS Data", click Downgrade. Downgrade your Git LFS Data plan

  6. Under "Downgrade data pack", select the number of data packs you'd like to downgrade to. Choose new desired number of data packs

  7. To finish downgrading, click Downgrade data plan. Finish downgrading your data plan
