You can use GitHub's Jekyll Theme Chooser to quickly create a Jekyll site.

By default, Jekyll Theme Chooser uses the master branch to publish GitHub Pages sites. It also uses a default URL based on your site repository name, such as username.github.io or username.github.io/repository-project-name.

You can change your theme using the theme selector at any time. For a list of Jekyll themes that are officially supported by GitHub Pages, see "Supported themes."
